FOUNDER & CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER
Dr. Harvilicz is also the founder of the Animal Wellness Centers, Animal Wellness Action, and the Animal Wellness Foundation. Dr. Harvilicz is a 2004 graduate of the Virginia Tech School of Veterinary Medicine. She has received several awards and distinctions, including the Sherrie Clark Compassion and Caring Award and the Tobey Award for helping lost, abandoned, or homeless dogs. Although Dr. Gann loves helping cats and dogs, she is passionate about rabbit and small mammal medicine. At UC Davis, she was the Avian Exotic Medicine Club president and worked extensively with rabbit clinics. Dr. Gann is also Fear-Free Certified and takes pride in providing the best clinical experience for her clients and patients. After hours, Dr. Gann enjoys rock climbing. She also adopted a bonded pair of rabbits born and raised in the LA shelter and continues to work hard to earn their love and trust.
Dr. Katarzyna Wasilewska-Flores DVM
VETERINARIAN
Dr. Katarzyna Wasilewska-Flores, also known as Dr. Kasia, was born and raised in Warsaw, Poland. Her love for animals was evident from an early age, as she would spend her summers in the field reading to cows or singing to her grandpa’s backyard chickens, rabbits, and barn cats. Dr. Kasia attended Warsaw University of Life Sciences and received a doctorate in veterinary medicine. While still in vet school, she visited the US a few times and fell in love with the LA sunshine, which led her to move to California in 2013. She is licensed to practice in Poland, the United Kingdom, and the US. Dr. Kasia’s interests lie in feline medicine, small animal dentistry, anesthesiology, internal medicine, and dermatology. After hours, Dr. Kasia enjoys reading, rock climbing, hiking, and knitting! She has three demanding kitties and a chihuahua, who was recently rescued from the streets by the Animal Wellness Foundation.
